The Global Impact of IUB
From the late 19th century up to modern times, Indiana University was pressured into adapting to the rapid globalization of the world due to an increase of communication networks and cultural shifts. The multiple paths that each project takes may not match up fully, but each deal with how the University engaged and engages in efforts to make IU a more global and multicultural center of learning.
There were some differences that can be attributed to the blurry intersection of the academic workplace and extracurricular zone of the university’s globalization efforts.
Despite these differences, however, each project focuses on how the university has multi-disciplinarily broadened its focus internationally through various actions, leading to a modernized academic center.
